Set up in 1997, the PK Trust, an independent educational charity, was set up by Cable & Wireless to preserve the important historical buildings and collections at Porthcurno, the home of the British Empire’s first international telecommunications network - 'the Victorian internet'.
The Trust’s two major activities are running the award-winning Porthcurno Telegraph Museum and managing Cable & Wireless’ historic archive of photographs, films and documents.
